This is our last week of Session 1. We'll review some lessons, and add a few new websites you can use to learn English. Session 2 starts on Monday 7/1/13.

L. 4 - 9 Reading and Listening Practice - use any of these four books and practice reading, listening and other activities. We'll see how to use this site in class
L. 5 - 6 Reading and Grammar Exercises at this website from Mission Campus
L. 7 - 9 Popular songs from 1960 to 1999 are here to download to your mp 3 player/iPod or to burn a CD. But you hear only the first 30 seconds of the song. [With the song and singer's name, you can find the full version on YouTube.] There are English exercises for each song, which you can also download. We'll practice using this in class.
Transition to Credit ESL - The EFL Club is a good resource for students who want to prepare for college-level reading and vocabulary.

Irregular Verbs Flashcards - these are very useful in learning English. We'll see how to use this website in class.
Vocabulary with pictures, sound and practice exercises. This includes a dictation where you can improve your spelling ability.
Side by Side Video Program on YouTube - you can watch these videos even though this program isn't on the Internet. In YouTube, type "side by side esl videos" to find them.

TUTORIALS in middle of page. Don't forget to practice typing when you have time. It will help you to more easily use computer programs and the Internet.
